Theme:
A journey in the footsteps of love for the homeland, hope for victory and regaining freedom, and anger, brought by injustice and cruelty. The exhibition “Embroidered by War” is not only a collection of paintings but also a story about the strength of the human spirit, courage, hope, as well as suffering and pain.

The images presented not only convey the drama of the events but also carry the viewer deep into the emotions and experiences of the people of this country. The works, created before Russia attacked Ukraine in 2022, exude a spirit of patriotism and love for the motherland, while those created after the day the war broke out show the dramatic development of events, and their central motif is the symbolism of embroidery – a reflection of strength, determination and hope.
